🔍 Manage & Control your e-Commerce Stock

We understand the significance of our customers maintaining a robust stock to improve the shopping and operational experience for users and the store. Our mission is to support customers by providing features for autonomous stock management, ensuring the best experience for end users.

In your Next-Gen eCommerce, you can now:

  • Set a safety stock; involves utilizing a catalog field that enables the configuration of a minimum unit limit within the inventory, preventing the sale of a product.
  • Displaying out-of-stock products as “Not Available ” will allow it to determine whether or not to display a product within the e-commerce platform that falls below the safety stock. This is done to avoid confusing users when they cannot find a product, preventing them from thinking that the item is not carried by the store rather than simply being temporarily unavailable.

  • Get a low-stock warning alert: An alert will be displayed on the product image when it is about to run out.

  • Configuring Reserved Stock and Outbounds; this aims to reserve inventory purchased through e-commerce that hasn’t been invoiced by the picker, preventing overselling until the product is invoiced, confirmed as sold, or the stock is updated by the customer again.

✅ Flexible Order Placement: Introducing Instaleap’s Fallback Logic

The capacity of a store is understood as the number of orders it can receive, taking into account available resources and saturation. If a store has reached its capacity and a user wants to place an order, it will not go through, and delivery time slots will not be displayed to the user. Fallback is an Instaleap logic to bypass store capacity constraints and allow order placement within the time slots requested by the end user.

Why did we do this?  We recognize that there are cases where it is necessary to bypass capacity constraints to avoid impacting the service perception for end customers when they want to place an order and are not shown delivery times due to insufficient store capacity.

If you don’t configure Fallback in the schedule request and a store has no capacity, no more orders will be accepted by the store. However, if the schedule request is sent with Fallback set to true, Fallback-type slots will be generated, enabling the creation of the order.

✅ Fleet Policies for Order-Specific Assignments

In specific operational scenarios, our clients require that, based on certain order conditions, a specific fleet be designated.

For instance, when the payment method for an order is by card, it is necessary to assign it to a fleet equipped with a card reader, or when an order includes a “big item.”

To address this need, we have developed “Fleet Policies,” which are conditions or requirements associated with one or multiple stores. These policies specify special parameters for fleet assignment. Furthermore, they include “fleet policy rules” and “fleet descriptions” to ensure the proper functioning of these policies.
